Kortex privacy policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026.

Kortex is a private household assistant used by three members of one household. This page explains what it does with Google account data.

What it accesses

How the data is used

Kortex uses this data only to help the household with its own admin, such as noting a bill due date or an appointment. Each person's mailbox is read only with that person's own sign-in, and each person can sign out at any time.

Where the data is processed and stored

Processing happens on a computer in the household's home. Reading of personal mailboxes is done by an AI model running on that computer, not by a hosted AI service. Short facts the household needs, such as a due date, are kept in the household's own notes on that computer and its home storage. Kortex does not sell Google data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Kortex's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
